Public Holidays Act (Chapter 321) – Notice
I, Grand Chief Sir Bob Dadae, GCL, G.C.M.G, K.St.J, Governor-General, by virtue of the powers conferred upon me under Section 8 of the Public Holidays Act (Chapter 321) and all other powers enabling me, and acting on the advice of the National Executive Council, hereby declare:
September 15 to September 17, 2025 (with September 16 being National Day) shall be observed as national public holidays throughout Papua New Guinea in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Independence.
